CivAI Coding Studio is live, build with AI while your data stays in Europe
Since Monday 26 October 2026, CivAI Coding Studio has been officially launched. With it, you can build apps with AI, directly in your browser. You describe in plain language what you want to create, and the AI Coding Companion first proposes a building plan. Only when you say yes, does it start building.
We created Coding Studio for everyone who considers it important that data remains within Europe. For teachers and students, for civil servants, and for organisations that want to create their own software without their ideas, code, or data being sent to servers outside Europe.
You can also watch the Short directly on YouTube and feel free to share it with colleagues, your team, or your network.
Vibe coding on European infrastructure
Vibe coding means creating software by talking to AI, instead of typing every line of code yourself. That’s powerful. But with most well-known tools, your prompts, your code, and the data in your app are sent to servers outside Europe.
With CivAI Coding Studio, the chain remains in Europe. Building, AI models, and hosting all run on European servers from our partner Scaleway. You can publish your app live with one click, on your own subdomain or your own domain.
Prefer to work completely offline? Then connect your own local AI, for example via Ollama or LM Studio. Your prompts will then stay on your own machine, and no usage data will be sent to CivAI’s servers.
Your data is yours
Your data is never used to train AI models. We record this in a data processing agreement according to Article 28 of the GDPR, which you can read in full on the website. Data remains within the EU and EEA, and in the event of a data breach we will notify you within 24 hours.

Three subscriptions
Free, at no cost. For web apps on a free subdomain or your own domain, ideal for experiments and prototypes.
User, €15 per month excluding VAT (€18.15 including 21% VAT). Adds a database for real projects.
Power User, €30 per month excluding VAT (€36.30 including 21% VAT). Adds AI features to your own apps.
The VAT rate for your own country will be shown at checkout, before you pay. All paid subscriptions are subject to fair use.
