CivAI hosts VAIA webinar on evaluation and learning in the AI era

Great news from Flanders. On Wednesday, 30 September 2026, our founder Pascal Mariany will be hosting a free webinar for VAIA, the Flemish AI Academy. The theme is assessment and learning in the AI era.

The webinar is part of the series Between Prompt and Practice, an initiative by VAIA and the Department of Education and Training. With this series, they bring AI inspiration to Flemish education.

How do you train critical thinking in pupils, especially in an age of AI? And how do you assess in such a way that pupils learn to justify their choices, instead of simply submitting an answer? These questions are central to this session.

In addition, Pascal will give two short demonstrations showing how teachers without technical knowledge can design their own AI companions tailored to their lessons and learning objectives. Our practical experience with EduGPT will also be discussed, including the Prompt Companion.

The webinar is intended for teachers and education professionals in primary and secondary education. IT specialists, policymakers, and managers are also very welcome.

The webinar will take place on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, from 15:00 to 16:00, is entirely online and free of charge. You can register via the VAIA website.
