CivAI joins the AI Coalition for the Netherlands (AIC4NL)

Great news to share. CivAI is joining the AI Coalition for the Netherlands (AIC4NL), the national public-private community dedicated to accelerating the responsible development and application of AI in the Netherlands.

What is AIC4NL

AIC4NL is the largest AI community in the Netherlands and brings together companies, knowledge institutions, and public organisations. Through a national network of AI hubs, the coalition connects regional, national, and international players.

Together, the participants are building a strong AI position for the Netherlands, also within Europe. This is achieved through concrete programmes, including the largest AI programme in the Netherlands, AiNed.

Why we participate

Responsible AI is not something you create alone. The questions that schools, governments, and healthcare institutions are currently struggling with—such as control over data and dependence on large foreign platforms—require a joint Dutch response.

CivAI is developing sovereign AI environments that run entirely on European infrastructure, with solutions such as EduGPT and GovGPT. We are keen to bring this European and human-centred perspective on AI into the coalition.

Moving forward together

We look forward to sharing knowledge within AIC4NL, meeting other participants, and working together to build AI that aligns with our public values.
