CivAI’s four products and the European demand for digital sovereignty

CivAI’s four products and the European demand for digital sovereignty | CivAI News

This week, an article appeared on our company page about the four products of CivAI: EduGPT, GovGPT, OrgGPT, and CareGPT. That’s reason enough to explain here on civai.eu why we build all of them from the same starting point.

At the beginning of June, the European Commission presented the Tech Sovereignty Package, including the Cloud and AI Development Act, an updated Chips Act, and an Open Source Strategy for the public sector. The aim is to reduce dependence on non-European cloud and AI providers and increase European capacity for, among other things, data centres and AI. For us, this is not surprising news, but rather a confirmation of a choice we have made from the very beginning.

One starting point, four environments

We believe that organisations should have a genuine choice between running locally, hosting in Europe, and controlled cloud use, instead of being tied to a single provider outside the EU. With the Prompt Companion, users in each of our four products can also build their own AI Companions, tailored to their profession, their task, or their client.

In EduGPT, this means teachers design their own subject-specific Companions, from feedback to tests to curriculum, instead of using a ready-made system created for them.

In GovGPT, civil servants and teams build Companions that fit their tasks, their rules, and their responsibilities, with the logging and data protection required for government work.

In OrgGPT, teams keep their knowledge and workflows safely internal, instead of scattered across various separate AI tools beyond their control.

In CareGPT, sensitive patient data and care expertise remain under their own management, allowing care professionals to build Companions that suit their protocols and their clients.

Especially in an era of AI, we do not see these four environments as separate products, but as one and the same promise for four different worlds. Curious how this looks in your sector? Feel free to contact us.
