EduGPT integration with Canvas and other systems

We have been building EduGPT for some time now. Together with the education sector. AI Companions, designed by teachers themselves—we already have these. There is still value in that for us.

But now comes the next step.

Teachers who work with Canvas, Brightspace, Moodle, Magister, Itslearning or Somtoday will recognise this. Building a good lesson can easily take hours.

👉 EduGPT is now integrated with Canvas
And that’s where it gets interesting. Not just generating, but directly embedding into didactics and implementation.

I simply gave this similar prompt:
“Create a lesson about Agile Scrum and the different roles within Scrum. For higher professional education (HBO) Software Development students. Use guiding and scaffolding. Place the complete lesson in Canvas.”

What happens next:
- The entire lesson structure is built
- Pages, learning objectives, structure
- Quiz, discussion, assignment and rubric
- Everything placed directly as a module in Canvas

From idea to complete course in approximately 5–15 minutes!

And perhaps even more importantly:
- It doesn’t stop at generation.
- You work iteratively.
- Human-in-the-loop.

Feedback from a colleague or student?
- Copy it. Paste it. Or speak it.
- EduGPT adapts the course.
- You remain in control.

AI is shifting from tool to design partner. A form of “educational vibe coding”, but didactically sound.

And entirely within a secure, European AI environment.

What this means in practice:
• Instantly generate lessons in Canvas
• Also convert existing PowerPoints, docs or videos
• Integrate relevant YouTube videos, images and infographics
• Support for didactic models and differentiation
• Analytics linked to learning objectives and assessment quality
• Fully customisable via natural chat

And yes, this also works with other LMSs as previously described in this post.
