IT Academy Government launches two AI e-learnings, exactly the approach that GovGPT is already integrating

The IT Academy Government (RADIO) launched this week, commissioned by CIO Rijk and Digitalisation Policy, two new e-learnings about AI for all internal and external civil servants. Each module lasts half an hour and builds upon the existing Basic Course in Digital Expertise.

What the two modules cover

The first module, "How do you work with an AI assistant?", shows how AI assistants operate and how your own frame of reference influences your use of AI. Effective prompt writing is also addressed, enabling civil servants to get more out of an AI assistant.

The second module, "Consciously working with AI", goes a step further. It focuses on dependency, sustainability, and regulations. Perhaps the most important aspect is the moment when AI should not be used, and what that means for official work.

Mandatory under the AI Regulation

The e-learnings are not optional. They have been developed to meet the AI literacy requirement from the European AI Regulation, which demands that every organisation working with AI ensures employees understand how these systems work and where the risks lie. Participants can pause the module and resume it later.
