New school year, one AI approach in the team: at CivAI, the training is already done

New school year, one AI approach in the team: at CivAI, the training is already done | CivAI News

The new school year is beginning. And with it comes the question we hear from many teams this autumn: Is everyone on the same page regarding AI?

It’s a familiar situation. One colleague is already making extensive use of AI for lessons and documents, another is unsure whether it’s actually allowed, and a third is mainly wondering what exactly the law requires. This difference doesn’t arise because people are unwilling, but because AI literacy is often not a fixed part of how an organisation works with AI. Everyone experiments independently, using different tools and without shared agreements.

Since 2 February 2025, this is no longer a matter of choice. Article 4 of the EU AI Act obliges organisations working with AI systems to ensure sufficient AI literacy among their staff. Not to train everyone to be an expert, but to provide a shared foundation. Understanding how AI works, knowing where the risks lie, handling privacy and ethics consciously, and being able to use AI critically and effectively.

At CivAI, this is not a separate course you have to organise on top. Anyone working with EduGPT, GovGPT, OrgGPT or CareGPT simply receives the AI literacy training included with the licence. Every quarter, delivered by our CivAI certified trainers, so that the team’s knowledge stays fresh and grows along with how quickly AI itself is changing.

No separate training budget, no separate contract with a third party, no team working at different speeds. One environment, recurring training, and the foundation required by Article 4 is already included in the price you’re already paying. For many teams, it’s simply a bargain.
