Seven new Shorts, so you can see in a minute what's new in our GPT environments

Seven new Shorts, so you can see in a minute what's new in our GPT environments | CivAI News

In recent weeks, a lot of news has been added to our GPT environments. To show this quickly and visually, we created a series of YouTube Shorts. Each video lasts less than a minute and demonstrates one new feature.

EduGPT, GovGPT, OrgGPT and CareGPT all run on the same European platform by CivAI. Most of the Shorts feature EduGPT, but much of what you see works in the same way in the other environments. Below you’ll find all seven, each with a brief explanation.

Keep Thinking for Yourself, Even with AI

A Year 6 pupil asks Gemini for a complete project, deliberately including spelling mistakes to make it look authentic. Gemini simply provides it. The same question to EduGPT doesn’t result in a ready-made project, but does offer help with an outline and asks a question in return.

That’s EduGPT’s critical thinking engine. Guiding instead of delivering, so the thinking remains with the pupil. Information is everywhere, guidance is not.

Prefer no voice-over? There’s also a version with just music.

Create Word, Excel and PowerPoint Files from the Chat

A report as a Word document, a rubric as an Excel file, or a presentation based on a PDF. You simply ask for it in the chat and download the file. You can choose from several AI models, all hosted in Europe.

This Short also shows what it’s all about: one platform, four products, for education, government, organisations and care.

EduGPT Remembers What You Ask

EduGPT now has a memory. It only remembers something if you ask it to, for example which class you’re in or on which day you create your planner. EduGPT will remember this in every new chat.

Under the little brain icon in the menu, you can see exactly what has been saved. You can always edit or delete it, or simply say “forget that”.

EduGPT Tailored for Your School

With EduGPT Starter, teachers can get started very easily. Open teaching materials from Edurep and the SLO core objectives are immediately available in the chat. AI Companions help with creating lessons, tests, explanations and practice materials.

You can convert a practice test to PDF or Word, and your school gets its own logo and web address.

The full ten-minute explainer video shows everything step by step.

Feedback on Every Report with the Feedback Companion

First, you upload the rubric from your course or school, then the work of your pupil or student. For each competency, you receive an assessment of the level, a strength, a tip and feedforward, following the feedback model of Hattie and Timperley.

You remain the teacher. You review everything and adjust where necessary. This way you stay in control and have more time for real conversations.

Create Your Own Explainer Video for Your Lesson

This is our newest feature, currently being tested in our demo environment. You choose Explainer Video, say what it’s about and select a style, such as notebook or blackboard. After a few minutes, a short clip is ready with voice-over, subtitles, drawings and music.

Pupils and students can also use it to make a clip about something they’ve just explained themselves. That way, explaining becomes learning.

Spotting Signals, Without Names and Without Diagnoses

Is a pupil struggling with something in a conversation with EduGPT? As a mentor, you want to know. In the signals dashboard, you can see which conversations have been flagged, assessed according to the Red Flags protocol with red, orange and green.

For red and orange, the mentor, care or coaching team immediately receive an email. EduGPT signals, the professional decides what happens next.

In the explainer video about the signals dashboard, you’ll see in just over two minutes where to find what and what you can configure yourself.

We Keep Developing

These Shorts are a snapshot. Behind the scenes, we continue working every week on EduGPT, GovGPT, OrgGPT and CareGPT, hosted in Europe and without Big Tech underneath.

What we build comes directly from practice. From questions from teachers and lecturers, policy officers at councils, and teams in organisations and care. There’s a lot more in the pipeline, and we’ll be happy to show you more in the near future.

Thank You to Our Customers and Pilot Users

That’s why a heartfelt thank you to all our customers and pilot users. Your feedback, critical questions and ideas make our products better every week. EduGPT Starter, for example, was created directly from feedback from schools asking for a simpler start.

Please keep telling us what works and what could be improved. Especially in an age of AI, we prefer to build this together with the people who use it every day.
