The Art of Living with AI, the English edition of the book by Pascal Mariany, is now available
The book The Art of S̶u̶r̶v̶i̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ Living with AI by Pascal Mariany is now also available in English. Under the title The Art of S̶u̶r̶v̶i̶v̶i̶n̶g̶ Living with AI, it is available from today on Amazon, as a Kindle e-book and as a paperback.
Since the publication of the Dutch edition by Van Duuren Media, we have regularly received questions from colleagues abroad asking whether there would be an English version. The answer is now yes.
What is the book about?
The subtitle says it all. On learning, teaching and humanity in the age of AI, in other words, about learning, teaching, and humanity in the age of AI.
It is not a book about surviving the next tool or the next hype. It addresses the question of how we can live and learn with AI, with humanity at the centre. What changes in the way pupils and students learn? What does AI require from us as teachers? And why is critical thinking more important than ever?
It is also a book to work with. Each chapter contains learning activities that you can try out immediately with AI companions in EduGPT. Through QR codes, you can access short videos, with English subtitles.
